I've officially stopped listening to Z103.5. It's utter trash. Garbage. Rubbish. I can't stand it for more than 30 seconds. The annoying ads aimed at High School kids, the annoying crap that passes for top 40 music these days, the annoying hosts, it's just too much. With the exception of DJ Danny D's daily streetmixes, this radio station has officially lost it's appeal to me. More often than not, I have 104.5 Chum FM or Smooth Jazz 94.7 on when I feel like browsing the radio. (It's quite rare these days considering I've been putting iPod through heavy use)
Also, there is another debate that has a winner. Kanye West's
Late Registration is definitely the album of the year eclipsing Coldplay's
X&Y. Despite having one of my favourite songs off all time on it ('X&Y', the single) Coldplay's latest effort is a 4 song album at best. After 'Square One', 'Speed Of Sound', and 'Talk', there's not a whole lot there. Late Registration however is atleast 8 songs deep. My favourites (other than the singles 'Diamonds Are Forever' & 'Gold Digger') are probably the hidden track 'Late', 'Roses', 'Drive Slow', and 'Touch The Sky'.
If you're planning to legally purchase any of the above two and can only afford one, cop the Kanye, it's better bang for the buck.

btw, John Tesh is the man, he told me how to hassle the guy who tries to force fixed mortgage rates on me. I shall never be fixed again.
Btw, I feel that John Tesh belongs in the same league as such men as Pavel Tsatsouline.
But for the summer, my favourite picks were X & Y, Jack Johnson's "In between dreams" (If you like acoustic guitar songs, you'll love this one), and Dave Matthew's Band's "American Baby".
Z103.5 used to be good for all the house/euro stuff they played. But now, there's too much mainstream hip hip / pop music on there. I switch between edge 102.1 and mix 99.9. But yeah, that's also becoming less frequent now that i've got my zen micro.
